Nguyên nhân bên ngoài như thời tiết, ánh nắng, hóa chất,…gây khô da đều làm tổn thương đến hàng rào lipid bảo vệ bề mặt da. Đặc biệt, khi môi trường ngoài có độ ẩm tương đối thấp vào thời tiết lạnh hoặc tiếp xúc thường xuyên với môi trường máy lạnh sẽ khiến da khô, bong tróc, nứt nẻ.

Các biểu hiện của làn da khô thường thấy đó là da xỉn màu, không đều màu, bong tróc, lột da, da khô ráp, nhăn nheo và sẽ đến viêm da, hoặc da nhiễm trùng do mất đi yếu tố bảo vệ. Vì thế, các nàng hầu như đều ý thức được vai trò của dưỡng ẩm nhưng giữa vô vàn các loại dưỡng ẩm như gel, lotion, emulsion, dầu dưỡng ẩm thiên nhiên….thì để tìm một sản phẩm dưỡng ẩm phù hợp thì không phải dễ tìm.

Dưỡng ẩm thân dầu từ các loại dầu thiên nhiên đóng vai trò khoá ẩm, hoạt động như một lớp màng lipid bảo vệ bề mặt da, ngăn chặn sự bốc hơi độ ẩm và dưỡng chất của các bước dưỡng cầu kỳ trước đó, nhờ đó làm tăng hiệu quả dưỡng da.
